01. used to

过去经常做的事情（但是现在已经不做了）

用法：used to do sth.

否定用法：used not to do sth.

to 不定式，后接动词原形。

I used to play with my friends after school.

过去放学后我常常和朋友们一起玩。

I used not to play with my friends after school.

过去放学后我不会常常和朋友一起玩。

注意：used to表示过去某个常做的事情，句中不加入次数或时间段（例如：four times, two mouths）

02. be used to

用法一：be used to do sth. 事物被用于

...used 被动形式，表示被用于；

to不定式，后接动词原形。

Wood is used to make paper.

木材被用来造纸。

用法二：

be used to sth/doing sth 习惯做某事

to 充当介词，后接动名词或名词

Mr. Li is used to washing his face with cold water.

李先生习惯于用冷水洗脸。

03. get used to

表示开始习惯于，从不习惯到习惯的一个过程。

用法：get used to sth/doing sth

这里的to也是充当介词，后接动名词或名词

The food here is not so tasty but you will get used to that.

这里的伙食不怎么样，但你会慢慢习惯的。

引申：be used to doing / get used to doing不同之处在于时间节点。

• be used to doing一般是用在习惯之后，表示已经习惯了；

• get used to doing是习惯之前，还没习惯，要花时间去习惯。

Tom wasn't used to noise. It took him some time to get used to it.

汤姆之前并不习惯于噪音，一段时间后他才开始习惯。
