考研写作和雅思G类写作里都涉及以场景为导向的书信写作，而其中的求职信又是一个重点。不少同学在处理这类写作范式的时候习惯于套用模板，而且是较为机械地套用。这就带来一个问题：

当你真的需要为了自己的个人利益去搏一把，需要拿出一份好的英文求职信时，你反而难以写好了。因为那些相对陈旧的模板的缔造者们，一来缺少足够的写作经验，二来部分用语相对陈旧。

本文要探讨的就是：写英文求职信，你怎样能做的更好一点？

先看一个例子：

You major in Business English and are about to graduate from Peking University in June 2019. Write a letter of no less than 100 words to apply for a position of secretary in a company which requires the candidate to master fluent English and good computer skills. Introduce yourself, gently ask for an interview and give your contact information at the end.

这其实是一道题了...从命题内容角度，当然我们可以挑出一些槽点，比如“北大的学生难道不是应该企业恭恭敬敬来校招吗”“北大有几个想做文秘/文员的？”这些，用吐槽大会张绍刚的话来说就是——无所谓，不重要！

关键在于下面的内容：

首先，我们需要明确写求职信的一般步骤。

凡书信，无外乎上述三步走——

针对你的应聘场景，抽取关键信息点，比如你的学术背景，你的兴趣爱好，你的专长所在，为何你能很好匹配相关职位等等。

准备你的词汇素材库，这个英语里可以称之为“word bank”，类似于我们做选词填空时的“备选词”。这部分建议“料敌从宽”，尽可能准备丰富一点，从而在后续写作中有更大回旋余地。

勾勒大致的求职信框架。一般来说，不算title和落款，3-4段可以解决问题。

接下来，我们针对上面的场景实际操作一下。
